Simulation Context

Unilever’s Customer Business Development (CBD) team plays a critical role in driving growth through strong retailer collaboration, data-informed selling, and executional excellence. From product placement to promotional strategy, the CBD team ensures Unilever brands are visible, competitive, and positioned to win at the point of sale.

In this simulation, you will join Unilever Turkey as a Junior CBD team member and tackle three real-world tasks that reflect the everyday challenges of working with retail partners.


Tasks

  1. Convince the Store Manager: Use product performance and competitive benchmarks to justify the listing of a new SKU in a store with limited shelf space.
  2. Market Share Analysis: Calculate shelf share across stores and compare with market share data to identify growth opportunities.
  3. Discount Selection: Evaluate multiple discount campaign options and recommend one.
