Open Simulations
A job simulation is content created to let you experience the work and tasks you would do if you were working at a company. Each job simulation includes a variety of tasks. Open simulations have no access restrictions; anyone who is a Ludi member can participate.
- Fit for company and role: Helps you discover whether you could work at that company or in that role.
- Increase your experience: You improve your skills with real-world tasks.
- Go beyond the student mindset: Lets you see real problems from working life.
- Sample solutions: You can compare your work at the end of each task.
Yes. If you complete all tasks in the simulation, you can receive your certificate instantly.
Simulations are fully self-paced. You can start anytime and finish at your own speed.
Open simulations don’t directly guarantee a job or internship, but they add strong value to your CV and give you an advantage in interviews.
You can share your certificate and experience on your CV or LinkedIn profile under “Licenses & Certifications” or “Projects.”
Nothing happens. Ludi isn’t a university—there are no mandatory assignments. You can continue whenever you want.
Private Simulations
Private simulations are opened specifically for participants invited by certain companies. Companies may use them for different purposes.
- Hiring/Internship: In such private simulations, after participants complete the tasks, solutions are evaluated by AI-assisted models and reported to the company. Companies use these in job/intern recruitment processes.
- Online Internship: With the post-pandemic concept of online internships, companies used to prepare programs for selected student groups. These were often multi-week schedules of live sessions from various departments. However, such listen-only programs didn’t fully match the spirit of internships. With Ludi, companies can now run online internships at scale, where students actually complete real company tasks for several weeks like remote interns.
- Ideathon: For idea-generation competitions, companies can open private simulations and use AI-assisted pre-screening.
- Case study: Some private simulations are used during in-person case-study events. For example, at a campus case-study day, participants are given access to a private simulation on Ludi and companies can view responses live.
- Access: Open simulations are accessible to everyone; private simulations are by company invitation.
- Duration: Private simulations usually have start and end dates.
- Sample solutions: Available in open simulations; not in private ones.
- Evaluation: Private simulations are evaluated with AI.
- Certificate: Provided in most private simulations.
- Review the basic rules: Everything you need to know about both the simulation and the entire process is explained to you within the simulation. Be sure to read it all carefully.
- Check the tasks: You'll often encounter multiple tasks. These tasks will require you to produce outputs in the form of prose, presentations, video recordings, audio recordings, and more. Review each task, consider what you'll need, and plan accordingly.
- Technical requirements: While technically possible, many of the tasks aren't well-suited to complete in mobile devices. Therefore, for a better experience, you should use a non-mobile device. You'll also need a stable internet connection and an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc.).
- Honesty: Simulations aren't like school exams. Because we're simulating business life, seeking external help is a natural part of life. But what matters is how you contribute to your answers after receiving help. For example, you can receive AI support, but our system can identify tasks that were directly answered by AI. Instead, the right approach is to position AI as your assistant to understand tasks and generate solutions.
- Security: All solutions you submit to Ludi are securely stored in our encrypted databases and shared only with the relevant company officials. To ensure a fair and accurate election environment, these solutions are not shared with anyone other than the aforementioned officials.
- Support: Technical glitches may occur from time to time, some of which may be our fault, some yours. But at Ludi, we're solution-oriented, focusing on resolving problems rather than pinpointing their cause. So, if you experience any technical issues, please contact us.
Unfortunately, no. Only people designated by the companies can participate in private simulations.
About Ludi
Ludi is a job simulation platform. A job simulation is content created to let you experience the tasks and responsibilities you would have if you worked at a company. Structurally it’s similar to case studies, but unlike them it reflects the real tasks for each company and role—so the tasks you encounter directly let you experience working life.
After completing beta tests in 2023, Ludi has been live since 2024 and has more than 100,000 registered users.
Yes, all job simulations are completely free. There’s no hidden fee like paying for a certificate. Ludi’s business model is based on helping companies connect their employer brand with students through open simulations and run selection/evaluation processes through private simulations.
It’s the name given to gladiator training grounds in Ancient Rome. On Ludi, each company offers a similar training and experience arena for young “gladiators.”
